MEET CORLETTE

Corlette Malcolm-James was diagnosed with Lymphoma in October 2008 at age 40. She fought the disease with ever fiber of her being: body, mind, and soul. From her diagnosis to her treatment and throughout the many weeks spent in the hospital her major concerns were the welfare of her children and the plight of persons who are in a similar position. She never expressed concerns or became unduly worried about her prognosis.

Her valiant fight aided by her unswerving faith in GOD made a substantial difference but were not enough to stem the advance of this disease. She migrated to her heavenly home on September 22, 2009.

Though she is no longer physically present, the wonderful memories will live on forever in our hearts. We will always remember her effervescence and wonderful smile which always radiated among the crowd. Her joyous demeanor along with her compassion and love for her children, community outreach and others battling Lymphoma are indelibly etched in our minds. those characteristics along with her unquestionable devotion as a Christian, wife, mother and business woman inspired her husband, Mr. Bernard James to launch the Corlette Malcolm-James Foundation.
